Why bring in a facilitation expert?
As a former teacher and university lecturer, my style is open, engaging, and experiential. In my 20’s, I was a high school teacher, and learned VERY quickly how deadly using dull content will be. It turns out, adults don’t like being bored any more than teenagers do- and my testimonials agree! Personally, I think having an outside facilitator can be helpful because often, you’re too close to your organization to see the opportunities for improvement. From a business standpoint, working with the right facilitator can be one the most cost-effective ways to make your people and your organization more effective (AKA: helps the business make a lot more money!) That’s why I ensure that I do a lot of work BEFORE the sessions to ensure that my content is tailored to the group’s needs, relevant, interesting, and FUN. No one has time for tedious trust fall workshops….least of all, me!

How it works...

Discovery and planning
I’ll conduct a deep analysis of your desired outcomes.
Next, I'll put together a detailed agenda with activities, games, and your attendees'/ team's specific discussion topics.
We'll have a call to clarify and collaborate on the execution and next steps. Once you approve the agenda, we're set to go!

Event
I’ll lead the event, keeping it lively, interesting, vulnerable, relevant, and FUN.
I'll provide any print collateral or workshop materials. I'll use proven frameworks as well as new ideas to bring a fresh perspective to your development programs.
We'll have back-up plans to manage any variables that might arise.

Follow up
We'll have a debrief, and I'll conduct a survey to get participant input and feedback.
We'll use the KPI’s or metrics we identified in the planning phase to assess the effectiveness of the workshop/ sessions.
